I pursued this project because Sustainability and fashion genuinely interest me. Fast fashion is one of the biggest polluters but it also makes up a big part of most of our daily lives. I wanted to understand what happened to the cloths we throw away as well as what could be done to reused those cloths. I had some previous experience before this project. I got into fashion at a young age as my mother works in the fashion industry. I would go to work with her and see the process that the companies would go through to design, create and market the cloths. Through her I learned a lot about the fashion industry but I never fully understood its impacts on our world and environment. There are many things that I would like to pursue in the future and fashion in an option. This is another reason why I was so interested in this project.
